Inspired in part by Welcoming Ottawa Week (WOW), during Bow Valley Community Week, we invite local groups and organizations to host events and activities that:
- Connect locals to one another, as well as to helpful services and resources
- Welcome newcomers
- Celebrate diversity
Now in its 3rd year, there are 49 events scheduled for Bow Valley Community Week 2023. Most Community Week events are for everyone, but this year we’ve added something new just for newcomers. On November 14th BanffLife, a young adult serving organization, and the Bow Valley Immigration Partnership are co-hosting a resource and information fair designed especially for newcomers (to Canada or to the Bow Valley).
